Now Offering GaitKeeper® Research Edition

The easiest to use and most affordable  advanced motion analysis for 3D biomechanics research.
After three years of working with the top academic and scientific researchers (Prosthetics, Orthotics, Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation and Biomechanics) we are proud to announce our release of GaitKeeper® Research addition.

GaitKeeper® is a marker-less motion capture system that was designed to compete with the top marker based systems (Vicon, Motion Analysis, CODA and etc) but are much more simpler, faster and more efficient  to operate as biomechanics analysis tool for measuring movement and force data as collected by our GaitKeeper® system. GaitKeeper® Research edition provides the calculations needed for advanced kinematics and kinetics – with capabilities for instrumented treadmills. It includes the latest mathematical techniques for optimizations, signal processing and filtering, inverse kinematics, complex biomechanical modeling, forces and force structures, etc. In addition, we have included the additional capability to create automated tests that generate performance measure reports (PDF reports) for reimbursement, patient participation and outcome measure reports that can be included as supportive documentation.GaitKeeper® customers include universities, medical device manufacturers, and government researchers studying rehabilitation, neuroscience, engineering, robotics, sports (performance tracking, injury prevention, back to sport, exercise studies), orthopedics, prosthetics, animal studies, disability assessments, and much more.

GaitKeeper® research edition eliminates the pain points associated with traditional gait lab collection, with quick data calculations, fast rendering, and ease of use.

Not Your Traditional Gait Lab.

GaitKeeper®’s markerless motion capture allows for ideal motion analysis far beyond just gait. Within the mime recommended 12×20 calibrated volume can measure ideal unconstrained motion. Image both kinematic and kinetic data with just one system that does not require jack-hamming your floors and install expensive force plates, no carefully placed markers are needed… just patient anatomical measurements are needed for patient intake module and insole force sensors need to be worn.

Kinematics, Inverse Dynamics and custom calculations.

We’re able to measure full body motion. Yes, we offer all the metrics such as joint angles, moments, center of pressure, signal filtering, DFT, center of mass, energies, rotations, volumes, derivatives, and etc.  You can also write your own computations. Full control of input parameters, Euler angles, rotation order for Cardan angles, coordinate systems, and many other parameters enable GaitKeeper® to be a researchers tool of choice.

– Comprehensive Data Management of C3D files. Subject tagging and modeling allow for integrated data sets.
– External indexing allows for integrated access to libraries of data, subject, and files.
